STATEMENT OF FAITH
-
I
believe the Bible (the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments) is the
verbally inspired, God-breathed, infallible, and immutable Word of God,
errorless in it's original writings.
(2 Timothy3:16,17, 2 Peter 1:12 1 Corinthians 2:13).
-
I believe there is one and only
one living and true God. Jehovah is God The Father to those who become
children of God through Faith in His son Jesus Christ.
(Gen. 1:1, Jn. 10:30, 4:24, Deut. 6:4. Matt. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14)
-
I believe Jesus Christ is the
eternal Son of God. God The Son, conceived of the Holy Spirit and born
of the virgin Mary. He was crucified, dead and buried; and He arose from
the dead conquering sin, death, and all the powers of Satan. Jesus
ascended into heaven where He is now seated at the right hand of God The
Father Almighty. He will return in power and glory to judge the world
and to consummate His redemptive mission. I believe Jesus Christ is the
only way of salvation. He is the only Mediator between God and us.
(John 1:1, 14,18, Matt. 1L21-23; Heb. 1:6, 8; I John. 5:20; I
Tim.2:5)
-
I believe in the water baptism
by immersion, which is the believer’s first act of obedience.
(John 3:5)
-
I believe in the indwelling of
the Holy Spirit through the baptism of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit
is the Spirit of God. God the Holy Spirit, He inspired holy men of old
to write the Scriptures. Through illumination He enables men to
understand truth. He exalts Christ Jesus. He convicts of sin, of
righteousness and of judgment. He calls men to the Savior, and effects
regeneration. He cultivates Christian character. He seals the believer
unto the day of final redemption.
( Matt. 28:19, John 1:13, 3:3-6)
-
I believe in the Apostolic
Doctrine. I believe in all the gifts of the Holy Spirit and that they
all should be in operation today in the Body of Christ.
(Joel 2:28, Acts 2:16-21, I Corinthians 12:27-31)
-
I believe that there is a heaven and there is a hell. That God on
judgment day will judge all of us by His Holy Word. I believe that
judgment will and must begin at the House of God.
(Gen. 1:8, Ps. 19:1, Ezek. 7:8, I Pet. 4:17, Rev. 6:8, 20:14, 21:1)
The Word Of God
Is The First And Final Authority In My Life.
